The "Controllers" in respect of the processing of any personal data when someone uses this website are Mishcon de Reya LLP, McCue Jury & Partners LLP, Edelson PC and Fields Law LLP (when this Notice uses the word "we", it should be taken to refer to all of those controllers).

The Controllers have given their permission for Toby Burnham Communications to act on their behalf for the purposes of collecting, storing and sharing information.

Legal basis for processing your personal data

The personal data we collect is processed by the Controllers and their agents on the basis that it is for the purposes of our legitimate interests in informing you about potential legal action and in inviting you to request further information.

You understand that the Controllers and their agents will subsequently undertake client verification searches for the purposes of verifying your identity if you express an interest in joining the claim. To do so the agents may check the details you supply against any particulars on any database (public or otherwise) to which they have access. They may also use your details in the future to assist other companies for verification purposes. A record of the search will be retained. We will retain your data for the duration of the claim and/or pursuant to any regulatory and/or statutory requirements to do so.

US based claims

If you are contacting us to enquire about or participate in the US claim and are based in the US, we will pass your communications to us on to our US counsel in charge of the case (namely Edelson PC and Fields Law LLP). Any data that we send on to them will be subject to the Privacy terms of the respective counsel firms in their respective jurisdiction.
